The Growlermatic is a self-serve growler filling machine. A growler is a nearly 2L refillable beer jug that is traditionally filled by servers from a tap. The idea for a vending machine style growler filler started with Matt Phillips of Phillips Brewery. He had an old Coke machine that he wanted to convert to fill growlers. He gave to project to my mechanical engineering technology team at Camosun College for a capstone project. After the project was over, I was hired on contract to get it ready for public use.
