Mike Viala – Owner
Mike holds a bachelors in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria and a diploma in mechanical engineering technology from Camosun College where he earned flawless honor roll designation and won several awards.
Mike started Viala Technologies in 2015 when the owner of Denman Island Chocolate asked him to automate a tedious task for which no commercial solution was available. Since then, he’s added automation to a number of processes which have helped local small businesses improve quality, reduce waste, and operate more efficiently.
